Description

Here are six pieces of lovely Rosenthal fine china crafted in Germany with the “Charlene” pattern of yellow roses on a white background in the Aida shape trimmed in gold. This discontinued pattern was produced from 1961 to 1966. Condition of all pieces is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing, wear to the gold edges, or utensil marks. This porcelain dinnerware is in remarkable shape and must be extremely durable or the plates were never used, perhaps both are so. 4 dinner plates measure 10” in diameter 2 bread & butter plates measure 6 ¼” in diameter Backstamps in green with crown and flowers mark reads “Rosenthal, Bahnhof Selb, Germany, Aida, Charlene”. Below this in orange “3012” and various other 2-digit numbers. Thanks for looking.
