Optics look clean and clear, with light internal dust that will not effect image quality. Optics look to be single coated. Focus is a bit firm, but lens focuses through the entire range, and features a macro focusing range that is unlocked by pulling the crown on the base of the lens mount. Aperture is nice and smooth.
