Description

Here is a very nice vintage Kodak Bantam Special folding rangefinder Art Deco camera. The camera makes a beautiful display piece. The black art deco outside looks great with only a few paint chips. The lens is a Kodak Ektar f2 45mm in a Kodak Compur Rapid shutter. The shutter fires fine and sounds accurate to the ear. The diaphragm works. The glass is clean but when I fire it and shine a light through it I can see that it either needs a cleaning or their is some internal haze. I can't tell but with the eye the lens looks nice and clear. The rangefinder works fine. A great little desirable camera. Check out my other auctions for more large format cameras and brass lenses.
