This 94-piece dinner and coffee service by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985) features the unique, beautiful Ice Blossom (Eisblume) pattern by Rosenthal Studio Linie. Made in Germany, this rare set commemorates 100 years of the Rosenthal brand. A large number of dishes in this set include the commemorative inscription of "100 Jahre Rosenthal August 1979 - July 1980," as shown in the photographs. This is a discontinued pattern, and while individual items are available, the full set is not available at retail or resale outlets. The "100 Jahre Rosenthal" inscription increases its value. Ideal for special occasions, this set includes everything you need to serve 8 people, plus extra dinner plates, salad plates and coffee cups and saucers that were acquired at a later time. Several beautiful serving dishes are included. The cups, soup bowls and some serving dishes have an elegant footed design.
