Here is a very rare Eastman Dry Plate & Film Co. Interchangeable View Camera. This is one of Kodaks first cameras before they took on the Kodak name. I have read that they only made around 400 of these cameras and they are highly sought after today. This camera is a 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 size model. The bellows are original and light tight but they look like they might have had an outer covering applied to them as the material is thick. They still open and close fine. The rear standard movements all work. The camera has some repaired cracks on the left side of the rear standard. It does not effect the cameras operation but are visable. I took one picture focused on that area so you can see. The front standard moves up and down fine but the inner section, that holds the lensboard, I was not able to move it up and down when I loosened the knob on the front. The ground glass back is intact. It comes with its front extension rail. It does not come with any plate holders. The lens says Unique Rapid Rectilinear 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 Albert Sellner Quincy Ill. The glass is clear but I do see some internal fungus. The camera makes a great display piece and is a great chance to get a rare piece of Kodak camera history.
